PRIMARY AREA

This project transforms an old ancestral residence into a vibrant preschool through a sensitive process of adaptive reuse and spatial reconfiguration. The design prioritizes functional clarity and safety while responding to the anthropometric needs of its primary users—children between four and five years old. Scaled elements, playful spatial cues and engaging visual environments create spaces that are intuitive, relatable and stimulating for young learners.

Key design interventions focus on improving circulation, light and spatial openness while retaining the character of the original structure. Alongside child-centric learning spaces, the layout also integrates efficient zones for faculty and administration, ensuring the facility functions seamlessly for all users.
